 The
DurrMaid 1500 Heated Cleaner & Extractor
 Durrmaid, Inc. was established in 1998 and introduced a new line of floor care
products that were smaller, lighter and more efficient than anything available
in the industry. Their first innovative extractor was nearly 100 pounds lighter
than the competition while maintaining the same cleaning ability.
This small, powerful unit, with it’s (3) attachments, is the perfect cleaning
machine.
Soil not picked up by a vacuum cleaner is bonded to the carpet by oil or grease.
High temperature cleaning is the only method of breaking down that oil/dirt
cohesion.
Our Mini Hot Extractor gives you this edge in your cleaning, and the
low cost makes it affordable.
Durrmaid Heated Carpet Cleaner / Extractor Recent Upgrades:
 The 2 Gallon
1500 Durrmaid has reached a new level for compact extractors.The unit picks up heavy debris, sand and
hair that would otherwise contaminate the tank and waste water. It can hold up
to 5 pounds of debris.
As you know, a dry vac can miss sand and contaminants
that have “stuck” to the fiber. When hot water and detergent is added to the
process, these debris are loosened and sucked into the extractor.
The Durrmaid Internal Filter allows you to start your extraction process
immediately if you are in a rush! The bag is released with one turn of the lid
and debris is dumped by opening the bottom of the bag.
The Durrmaid has located its Control Panel at eye level above the fill access.
Indicator lights indicate when water level is reached and the heat comes on. A
heat light indicates when the automatic thermostat is reheating the water. There
are separate switches for each function: Dry Vacuuming, Wet Extraction, Heat
Only and Pump Only.
 The
Durrmaid heats water up to 200 degrees, throughout the solution tank! It heats in
about 15 minutes, and the tank holds enough solution to clean 144 square feet,
which is about two average automobiles. For the money, you’ll never find a more
efficient, versatile extractor.
The Durrmaid has both vacuum and flow output regulators to restrict pressure.
This is a very desirable feature and not found on most extractors.
While a heavy duty extension cord is a must for any power tool, this unit has
a built-in safeguard (developed by Eaton) which trips the circuit breaker if
someone accidentally uses a light, household cord. It can be immediately reset
if this happens.
Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning "Detail" Tool Close Up
Durrmaid's
unique Carpet & Upholstery Tool "Auto Detail Tool" has
all the safeguards. Its Lexan, see-through tips (there
are two) allow totally clear viewing of vacuumed debris
and moisture content.
The tips have stainless steel glides on the intake area
to protect the edges and to insure friction free
gliding. Their low profile design reaches under car
pedals with ease.
The Detail Tool also has a plug to prevent debris from
entering the solution hose during vacuuming. They
thought of everything!
 Quick Change "Pop-Out" spray tips for carpet and upholstery
applications. Change spray tips with a simple push &
twist. The .02 tip is for carpet, and the .01 tip is
used for upholstery. It cuts the water flow by 50% which
greatly reduces drying time!
Stainless Steel Glides eliminate friction and
prevent high temperature warping.
Vacuum Release Button
(shown at right)
reduces air flow suction. This
is a necessity for headliners and other soft material.
Clear Lexan material provides clear viewing of
extracted water and dirt.

The Durrmaid Super 1600 Extractor &
Wet Dry Vacuum has an easy-access control panel just behind the handle, including a water level
indicator light and a heater light.
Once the water tank is filled, it takes about 15 minutes to heat. and it maintains that heat as you work.
A 200 micron, nylon filter bag (shown at left) in the recovery tank enables the Durrmaid to pick up heavy
debris, like dirt, sand and even hair.
The bag holds up to 5 lbs. of
solid debris! This easily removable filter enables you to dump solid debris into the trash and pour out the
liquid waste water separately. Quickly empty the filter bag with a quick turn of
the lid. The contents empty through an opening in the bottom of the bag, as

to a water faucet and have a continuous water flow. The Durrmaid CCX 1700's 35' filler hose can also be attached

Continuous Discharge Feature
The Durrmaid CCX 1700 comes standard
with a 35' discharge hose. You can extend the

large container. The Auto Discharge feature enables the
user to work uninterrupted and dramatically

Large Extractors Are

Portable extractor users, auto and boat detailers,

spent to fill-up and empty both of their extractor
water tanks hurts their productivity. Purchasing a
larger full size extractor
with large solution and recovery tanks is not always

size extractor can

new Durrmaid CCX 1700 comes standard with features that

The CCX 1700 Heating System
The Durrmaid CCX 1700's heating system is the one
of the hottest and most efficient for a portable carpet and
upholstery cleaning system. It
will maintain a temperature of approx. 193 degrees Fahrenheit
during normal constant use. Once this unit is heated it
maintains maximum temperature until you are finished
using it. Many other heated extractors start out
hot but can drop 20 to 30 degrees when in use. The
consistent near 200 degree hot water delivery breaks up
spots and stains quickly, even stubborn, greasy stains. Higher
constant water temperatures give you superior cleaning
results and faster drying times.
Extractor &
Wet / Dry Vacuum Combination
The Durrmaid CCX 1700 has a powerful vacuum
feature standard. We include all the necessary vacuum
tools to pre vacuum the vehicle prior to extracting.
This feature is not just an after-thought but it will
eliminate the need for having a separate vacuum cleaner.
You actually can do a quick vacuuming first and then
while extracting you can vacuum-up any fine debris that
may have been missed. An inline reusable filter is
attached to capture all of the debris to keep your
discharge container cleaner. The CCX 1700 vacuum has
a powerful suction rating and is equivalent to 9HP/100
CFM. Most extractors on the market will not allow you to
vacuum while extracting, they are simply not designed
with that feature. The CCX 1700 will save
you time by giving you the ability to vacuum and extract with
one unit. No need to buy a separate wet/dry vac. Not
only will this unit save you storage space because of
its compact design; it also greatly increases your cleaning production.
220V Option Available
- The Durrmaid CCX 1700 is also available in 220
volts (add $40). If your generator or
power source has a
220V outlet you may want to order your CCX 1700 for 220V
